 Bear Creek Camp and Conference Center is a ministry of the Northeastern  and Southeastern Pennsylvania Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church In America.  Our facilities are open year-round, as a co-ed resident Summer Camp during the summer months, and as a Conference and Environmental Center the rest of the year.

Bear Creek Camp has been in operation at our present site since 1974.  Outdoor Ministries in eastern Pennsylvania stretch back almost another 50 years at our predecessor camps.  These camps,  Miller, Hagan, and Ministerium were located along the Delaware River and run by the synods beginning in 1927.

We're glad you're exploring our site.  With 3000 acres, 25 miles of trails, and a lake, there are plenty of opportunities for adventure and discovery.  Located  in the Poconos of Northeastern Pennsylvania just off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Bear Creek Camp is an easy drive from many major cities in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Come visit anytime.
